INTRODUCTION
Discover the influencing factors for mechanical properties of LPBF parts and learn how you can alter or improve these mechanical properties.
DESCRIPTION
The ever-growing development of metal additive manufacturing has allowed metal AM parts to be employed in high demanding applications such as aerospace, automotive, biomedical and etc. In this course you will gain an overview of AM-specific factors which greatly influence the mechanical properties of parts produced by LPBF. You will discover how you can improve or alter the quasi-static and fatigue behaviour of LPBF parts. In this course, you will also be introduced to some research case studies where mechanical properties of printed parts are varied in several ways.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This course is for engineers, researchers, managers in the metal additive manufacturing sector and for those who wish to learn about the factors that influence the final mechanical properties of LPBF parts and about how to improve or alter these mechanical properties.
